VELUX® Windows and Roofing in Tottington

Homes and roofs in Tottington

Tottington's older streets have stone and brick terraces with slate roofs, while inter-war, post-war and later semis and detached houses with tiled roofs fill much of the rest. Walshaw and the surrounding area have more modern homes, and farms and cottages sit on the edges.

Village life, varied roofs

Older terraces need the usual slate, chimney and gutter repairs, while newer homes more often need ridge, verge and flat roof work. Homes on the edge of the village face open farmland and catch more wind and rain.

Roof windows are a popular way to add space in Tottington homes, and we can install new windows, replace older ones and add solar or electric operation. Sun tunnels can brighten dark landings and bathrooms. If you are unsure which would suit a room, we can talk through the options when we quote.
