All roofing servicesHomes and roofs in Woodford
Woodford's older homes include detached houses, cottages and farm buildings on generous plots along the main road and lanes. The former aerodrome, once famous for aircraft manufacturing, has been redeveloped as a new village of modern family homes and apartments.
Old village, new homes
In the older part of Woodford, larger detached houses and converted farm buildings often have complex roofs and roof windows that are now ageing. On the new development, roofs and roof windows are recent, but servicing, blinds and upgrades to electric or solar operation are common requests.
Open land around Woodford means homes can be exposed to the wind. Robust ridges, verges and flashings matter, particularly on older properties that haven't been re-roofed in many years.
